Why do this ride: Ranch country and Fraser River Breaks provincial park

Difficulty: Lots of climbing. McKay Rd is a mud fest and the lake has partially inundated the road (pictured).

Other notes: There is a bigger loop possible starting in Williams Lake and returning via Soda Creek Rd, in which case you can avoid McKay Rd, but the highway stretch to Meldrum Rd start has no shoulder in key places so I avoided it.
