Why do this ride: Slesse Climb, Trans Canada Trail (TCT), Vedder Mountain.

Difficulty: The TCT single track has some moderately technical sections; the Vedder Mountain climb is steep and technical single track before getting to double track near summit (expect some walk a bike).

Other notes:  Not riding Vedder Mountain makes for an easier 80 km loop. This route avoids the steeper and more technical TCT switchback sections closer to Chilliwack Lake although the Vedder Mountain uphill is just as difficult.
