Why do this ride: a view of mainstays of Elk Valley, coal and forestry, while riding a bike. Sulphur Springs and the Elk River provide moments of nature.

Difficulty: Not a hard ride except the fresh cut block areas were pretty rough and torn up. Also hard to follow the trail there and several signs were run into the ground. Lost the route a couple of times.

Other notes:  The highway portion is not super busy and comfortable to ride.
