Why do this ride: Golden Ears Gravel Trails, Alouette Lake, Mike Lake

Difficulty: Not a hard ride but the 2024 atmospheric river has washed out trails close to Alouette River in a number of spots, some minor stream crossings and downed trees; expect hike a bike. The main road also has a number of washouts.

Other notes:  Alouette Valley Trail is normally off limits to bikes (its a horse trail) but park was closed when ridden. There are additional side outings possible to Memorial Lookout from Mike Lake via Alouette Fire Access (done in 2021) and from North Beach to Viewpoint Beach along East Canyon Trail (done in 2019).
