Blaeberry Valley
Start location: Golden
Ride Type: Out and Back-ish
Date Ridden: June 2022
Distance: 97 km
Elevation: 1,290 m
Surface: Mostly gravel
Why do this ride: Awesome Rocky Mountain Valley ride out to views of Mommery Glacier.
Difficulty: Straightforward, there is a bit of climbing in beginning but then its easy going.
Other notes: Be sure not to miss the Thompson Falls turnoff on the way in (I missed it). For return a simple out and back on main road may be preferred. My alternative return on north side of river was a bit adventures using decommissioned FSR in a sketchy slide area and then a few walk a bike stream crossings (pictured; wet feet guaranteed).
